The house is for a young couple in Hillsborough. The existing house is Spanish Revival in style and carries lots of unique characteristics that we think are worth preserving. We want the new architectural and interior modifications to have a conversation with the old, while offering the functional needs and open floor plan the clients are hoping for. The color palette has an earthy tone with a mix of wood, green and light cement finishes, echoing the nature outside the window to create a natural and relaxing atmosphere.
